Eastlake Wolves 2009/10 Coaching Staff

Children: Kai (4), Makana (1 1/2)

Graduated from Eastlake in 1996.  He started at power forward in the first basketball game in Eastlake history.  Coach Borden started two years for the varsity basketball team before opting to focus on football as a senior.  He is excited to work with such a tenured and talented staff.  Coach Borden is a packaging consultant for xpedx, and is on the varsity football coaching staff in the fall for the Wolves. College:  Played football at Sacramento State University, Political Science Major

CD's:  GZA/Liquid Swords, James Taylor/Sweet Baby James, Jon & Randy/Hawaiian Eyes. Worst Home Chore:  Blow drying my daughter's hair, anything involving a diaper. One word that best describes you:  Driven. Person who had the most influence on you:  Bruce Brown. Person in history you would most like to meet:  King Kamehameha. Best thing about Eastlake basketball:  The fans! Favorite quote:  "Fortune favors the bold."  "What you have, give; because what you save you lose forever." If I had to give up all possesions but one, what would it be:  My dad's music. The most important thing that coaching has taught me:  Careful preparation is the best source of confidence. Personal Goal:  Empower our players with skill sets that will give them a foundation to build on for life.
